Sorry for the quality, all pics were taken with an iPotato 4s.

1970 Ford Torino GT!

Kinja'd!!!

My grandfather bought it new in 1970, base model with a 302 and a three on the tree! Only options were A/C and Bright Blue paint.

Kinja'd!!!

It has been with one owner and we think it had done around 270k miles before the stock motor blew. He has a 351 Cleveland hooked up, but he hasn't fine tuned everything yet.

Bone Stock 90's Acura NSX!

And this concludes part one! Stay tuned!

You have a '70 Torino. You are my friend sir.

Also, I don't think that's a base model. Unless some one has purposely optioned it to look like a GT, that my friend is a 1970 GT fastback. The one in the first picture below is a bare-bones 2 door hardtop we sold years ago. The other 2 are '70 GT convertibles awaiting their turn in the garage. Id definitely check the VIN number, you might have a really special car there. We didnt find out till after we bought it that the third car (the one covered in bird crap) is a factory 429 CJ 4-speed. A basic Marti Report might be worth the time.

Well, it is still my grandparent's car, and they bought it new from the dealership in NJ, so I bet they have the original window sticker hidden somewhere ;) What I meant was that it was a barebones fastback, not like a 428 Torino Cobra Jet

MMMMMMMMMMMMM NSX!!

The most interesting car in my family is probably my aunt's Ford Sierra RS Cosworth.

It's lightly fettled (ECU, exhaust, the classics), so it's got just over 300 horsepower. I rode in it when we went to an RS Owner's Club event a few years ago and it's AWESOME!

Nice! The Torino isn't the only interesting car in the family, we also have three MG Midgets, two MGB's, a 58 MGA, two 71 Fiat 124 Sport Spiders, and we did have a Fiat X1/9 at one point! Those will appear later though!

ahh, i get ya. I think it would be worth looking into the cars history either way. For some reason this body style doesnt get as much love as the 68-69 or any of the gran torinos. You might see one or 2 at the BIG ford shows like Carlisle or Ford Expo.

I cant find the book with all of the info, but i CAN tell you that your car was 9966th car built and it was factory with a 2V (two barrel) 302.

To get everything, I'd need to see the build tag, that would give me trim, axle transmission, the whole deal
